FYI

August 19, 20 & 21 (Rain or Shine): 17th annual Vintage Japannese Motorcycle Show & Swap Meet - at White Rose Motorcycle Club in Jefferson, York County, PA.
Food, showers, and clean restrooms available in the club house. The swap meet opens Friday-Sunday at about 7am on each day. Most of the vendors camp there, so it never really closes.

This event is one of the highlights for Vintage Japanese collecters and enthusiasts in the Mid-Atlantic area. In recent years the meet has drawn vendors and collecters from all over the world. The hospitality and great scenic surroundings of the location in south central Pennsylvania is second to none. On the grounds is a wonderful clubhouse with a restaurant and clean rest rooms with showers for all the campers . The atmosphere is beaming with swaps and trades and guys and gals finding that one part to finish their restoration!

Friday and Saturday is full of vending and bench racing and good times with old friends you only see once a year. Sunday there is a concourse Bike Show with trophies given in many catagories! Don't miss this chance to come to one of the most beautiful areas in Pennsylvania and to one of the oldest Vintage Japanese meets in the country! We've also been told it's the largest Japanese only motorcycle show in the east. Check out http://www.vjmc.org for pictures and information from previous year (it's in the Articles section).

DIREDTIONS (Five different sets):
FROM THE NORTH: Take Route 81 south to Route 83. Take 83 South to Exit 22 (Old Exit 10). At the end of the ramp bear left and at the stop light turn right onto George Street. You'll be on George Street for a couple of blocks, then turn right on Route 30. Route 30 is a four lane road. Follow Route 30. (If you're hungry this stretch of Route 30 is a good place to stop, lots to choose from.) When you don't see restaurants and malls anymore, you'll get to the end of the bypass. When it splits, left lane will be for Route 462 to York and right lane will be for Route 30 to Gettysburg, you want to be in the right lane. About a mile after this split watch for Route 116, and turn left on Route 116 at the light. Follow Route 116 through Spring Grove. Just on the other side of town, at a small lake on your right, two roads turn to the left, the second one is Route 516. Turn left on Route 516. Follow Route 516 to Jefferson. Go straight (1/2 way around the circle) through Jefferson, you'll still be on Route 516. Turn right on Hill Climb Road and in a few miles you'll see the main entrance to the White Rose Motorcycle Club on your right. Alternate route from Jefferson turn right at the square, go to Sinsheim and turn left before you cross the railroad tracks and the main gate of the WRMC will be on the left (second entrance)

FROM THE SOUTHEAST: Take Route 83 north to the Glen Rock/Route 216 - Exit 8 (old Exit 2). Follow Route 216 to Route 516. Turn right on Route 516. Turn left on Hill Climb Road and in a few miles you'll see the main entrance to the White Rose Motorcycle Club on your right.

FROM THE SOUTHWEST: Take Route 15 north to the Route 94/Hanover Exit. . Follow Route 94 south to the Hanover square. At the square turn left on Route 116, followed by a quick right onto York Street so that you stay on Route 116. Follow 116 for several miles. Turn right on Route 216 at Cooper Motors (a Ford garage). Follow Route 216 and you'll soon see Lake Marburg (if it's night and you can't see the lake, you'll be going over bridges). Just after the third bridge turn left on Sinsheim Road. Go to Sinsheim. You'll know you're in Sinsheim when you go over the one lane bridge and cross the railroad tracks. Turn right as soon as you go over the railroad tracks. ** Follow this road till you see the main entrance (second entrance) to the White Rose Motorcycle Club on your left

FROM THE EAST: Take Route 76/PA Turnpike west. Get off at Exit 242(old Exit 18). Follow the directions above for 'From The North' starting at: Take 83 South to Exit 22.

FROM THE WEST: Take Route 76/PA Turnpike east. Get off at Exit 236 (old Exit 17). Take Route 15 south to the Route 94/Hanover Exit. Follow the directions for 'From The Southwest' starting at: Follow Route 94 south to the Hanover square.

(((** If you're driving a large rig and you don't think it will make this right turn in Sinsheim, go straight instead. This will take you into Jefferson where you will turn right on Route 516 at the square. Follow Route 516 to Hill Climb Road. Turn right on Hill Climb Road and in a few miles you'll see the main entrance to the White Rose Motorcycle Club on your right.
