Post subject: | Jetting question on MR250 |
Been riding about five months since I rebuilt the engine. Runs great except I still have to hold the throttle open a bit to idle. Factory was 48 pilot jet and 110 main. I now have a 45 pilot and 110 main. Is anyone running a 42 pilot?? Since it is air cooled, I'm afraid to go overly lean and risk melting the piston. I may tinker a bit more with the float level if I don't go down a size on the pilot jet. Adjusting air and fuel screws and adjusting the throttle cable has no real effect on the idle (or lack of) at this point. Thanks. |
