I Just installed a used 28 mm keihin on my 74 MT250. The carb is from a 75. When I tore it down to clean it out I noticed the air screw has a hole bored through it. My original had a solid screw. When I look through the intake I can see straight through the hole when it's lined up properly. Certainly this must effect the setting. Manual calls for the adjustment to be +- 1 1/2 turns from full close. Does that no longer apply? Should I be starting with the hole lined up and moving slightly off center?
