 Post subject: 1975 cr 250m serial #
PostPosted: Sun Jan 25, 2004 8:16 pm
I just bought a 1975 cr 250, that I plan to resore to vintage race. The frame and title serial number is different than the motor. Its the last 3 digits, so I assume that the motor is a 75 also just not the original. The question is that the motor says CR250ME. What is the E for? Thanks

I don't have a clue what the "E" stands for but I can help you with the serial number vs the year. The first number identifies the year on the chassis and the engine. And yes,I dont think they match, at least not that I have seen. Who know though, maybe some do..

Starts with #1 1974
Starts with #2 1975
Starts with #3 1976
