I am in need of a coil for my CR250M. I can't seem to find one. I bought an aftermarket Emgo one that doesn't work. The old one is broke where the spark plug wire goes imto the coil body. Just wondering if anybody might have a spare they would be willing to get rid of. Thanks, Stacy

Stacy,

I used an Emgo universal coil (squarish metal one) on my #2 '76 CR250M.
I did have to make a small adapter plate, to mount it, but it worked fine.

My original (#1) Elsinore, had the coil wire ripped out of the coil. Unlike other coils, it didn't have the screw-in type wire... just a stub where the wire used to be. I had opened up the conductor, in the new wire, pushed it into the opening with silicone rubber and haven't had an issue with it.
I'm a cheap-skate... what can I say!

Oscar
