Hi all new member here. Might be the proud owner of a 1974 CR 125M. I was wondering if anyone can give me some pointers on what to look for on this bike. From all my research it looks original except for the DG exhaust, shocks and bars. I am not a noob been riding for many many years and do all my own work except for tight tolerance machining. I used to be in HS back in 74 and allays wanted one of these but could not have one. Well I found one that needs to be restored and I enjoy that kind of work. Not looking to make money but more to get something more important back.

Really any advice would be considered helpful to me.

Thanks,

Nochain

Spend some time on Scott Steger's Vintage Factory web site. He has scanned in a bunch of old articles and stuff that is fun to look through. With enough digging you'll come across the 5 or 6 page magazine article detailing all the things to look out for on that Elsinore of yours.

Fun bike! I have one with some DG mods and it is a blast to race.

Enjoy,
Jon
