All right, i finally got time to work on the 74 mt 125. Originally i thought hole in piston, but it turned out top ring was gone.

I took the piston off and inspected piston pin, bearing. pin shows wear so i assume the bearing has wear also.

according to my manual it says to replace with matching bearing to the connecting rod. my rod has 3 marks indicating a white color coded bearing. but it gives no measurement for the bearing.

the manual has 3 different connecting rod marks , so 3 different bearing color codes.

the parts manual only shows 2 different bearings. one being a .... Never mind, i mis read the bearings in the parts manual. i see i need the .004-.006

i could of deleted this entire post and saved myself the embarrassment, figured ya'll needed a laugh. now back to the regularly scheduled program
