Will the higher capacity MR 250 or 175 tank fit on my 74 CR125? Wouldn't mind being able to temporarily switch them out when going on a long ride.

I believe I fit my '74 CR125 tank to my MR175 frame at one point, so I'm almost certain the tanks can be swapped (don't know about the MR250). I'd be a little concerned about the fork tubes hitting the wider MR tank, as this is sometimes a problem in the MR frame. The CR seat is narrower than the MR tank too.

Try contacting Clarke manufacturing. They have all kinds of tanks including larger capacity.They also have universal tanks. I bet if you give them a call they can answer your question.
