I would like some suggestions please on what fuel treatment if any while storing an older two stroke Elsinore. I pull it out one a month or so and start it just to hear it run and take it up and down the street. Other than that is sits. |

On my CR, I turn on the fuel once a week for about 5 sec. to keep the float bowl full. My RM and YZ have carb bowl drains, so I keep the carbs & tanks dry on those and fill as needed. I use race gas, though (it dries without leaving fuel deposits). If my CR & MR carbs had drain hose fittings & screws, I'd keep all of them dry. Ray |
