The rod has one flat end and one radiused end. It makes more sense that the flat end would be to the right side of the engine, because of the contact with the adjustment screw, and the radiused end to the left side of the engine, because of contact with the clutch actuation arm, but I believe the opposite to be true. Before I button up the engine, I'd like to hear from someone who knows for sure. Thanks!

I believe it is the radius side against the adjustment screw

Thanks for the reply, Rusty. You are correct! I noticed later that the clutch adjustment screw has a cupped end to fit the radiused end of the actuation rod, so I would say that confirms the matter. Thanks again!
