Well here it is guys my 1975 MT250 Painted up like a 73-74 CR250 and I apologize to all the purist out there who thinks everything should be as it was from the factory. Not me I like something a little different.
Powder coated frame, hubs, lower legs, tail light, headlight, speedo and tach bezels. Engine went black, Black aluminum wheels with Buchannon stainless steel spokes.
Fresh 1st over bore with new bearings and seals. Kind of cool to buzz around town on I must say!

Wow, that looks great! I've always liked the green/silver Elsinores, and I think the added black beefs it up and also modernizes it a bit (in a good way) which really catches the eye. That side cover must've taken some work, but it came out real nice.

Thanks, the side cover was a little tricky but seemed to turn out pretty good I just did not like the original silver or black. I had thought about fitting a 75-76 CR side panel and painting it to match but didn't have the heart to cut up one of my side panels lol.

YOU DESTROYED THAT BIKE!!!
Just kidding. Looks great and like you, I like different.

Have you put a passenger on back yet? Bet the pegs suck over bumps?
My wife refuses to ride with me and my pegs are half way to the pivot. I plan to look into making frame mounted pegs to get her on back again. I have some CT90 pegs for this as I want folding pegs in case I drop and stick a foot. At 58 years old... bones are fragile.
