Post subject:  Help with inherited "NEW" 1979 cr125rz parts

Hey from lill old New Zealand,

Last year a family friend and my boss passed away.
Him and my dad taught me to ride dirt bikes from a early age at his farm. My dad was a sponsored rider for Yamaha, and my boss was a mechanic for Yamaha and Honda in the US and Nz I have since worked for him the past 10+ years in another trade.

Heres where it gets interesting...
I was given the task of helping sort his barn out with my father and his widow. Amongst the thousands of parts something special caught my eye.. a box of red gold, and another and another.

Iv'e always owned Honda bikes and currently ride a Gen3 06 Cr250 with a 01 Cr250 motor I converted myself.

Once the task of clearing and stocktaking his barn was complete I was gifted the boxes of Honda parts.

99% of parts are brand new and in Honda packaging with part numbers.

He had assembled the bottom end on the CR125rz, however there was one part he couldn't seem to acquire and i couldn't find #11350-444-000 R- crankcase cover.

Im only interested in completing the CR125 air cooled engine to 100% genuine Honda parts, turning it into a show piece in his honour. i have reed cage and carb boot (not showing in pic)

I will have a'lot of genuine Honda parts left over for both 1979 CR125rz parts some MT125R and a water cooled CR125r? (I don't have a parts book for this and can't much info online)

Long story short... Any one know where i can find a #11350-444-000 R- crankcase cover. for a 1979 CR125RZ as far as i'm aware this is all i'm missing (will have a huge amount of parts to swap) Or cash

Im interested in any information any one has on these parts.

Thanks alot

Hello, According to http://www.partzilla.com the 1979 cover also fits the 1980 and 1981 CR125. You can add those bikes to your search. I would assume you are only looking for nos. Used would be an easy find. Ebay is a great resource for parts. Don't forget ebay Europe. A simple google search for the part number will sometimes yield results. Also, call a dealer (any dealer can do it) in the USA and ask for the part number to be run on the Honda parts locater. They check other dealers to see if any have it listed in inventory. Here is a good one~ Western Honda Cincinnati 513-662-7759. Good luck in your search.
