Hi all, after renewing my rear brake shoes I just reversed the process and replaced the wheel nut on the left/sprocket side of the bike. Seeing another MT lately I noticed the wheel nut on the brake side/right of the bike. What side do you have the nut on and does it make a difference what side it is on?

you can look up how the rear axle is installed on the "cmsnl.com" site, and you can confirm your spacers are in the right location too. hard to tell not knowing the year/make of your bike, but the axle likely goes in from the right side, with axle nut/cotter pin on sprocket side.
