Just a thought, the 60`s and 70`s muscle car market has been enjoying a resto-mod boom, where as cars are restored and fitted with modern suspension and brakes, sometimes powertrains. How about the same for Vintage mx bkes? Maybe it is already being done? Can you envision say a early 80`s or late 70`s MX bike with modern upside down front forks, updated rear suspension with disc brakes front and rear? Who knows, could be a blast and perhaps if the trend takes off some sanctioning bodies may create classes for them... "vintage retro-mod unlimited".. production parts only suspension, brakes, period engines, frames, plastic, etc... Think I will build one, anyone have sugestion for a good candidate?
