Post subject:  1980 MX100
I believe I purchased an MX100. I was wondering if anyone can tell me for sure where to locate any identifying numbers? I did see the VIN or whatever the numbers/letters are that are stamped in the neck tube - 3TO-060319. I see that some parts are listed for MX100G and MX100H. What are the differences?

I would also like to find out where to buy a rebuild kit for the carb that is on it. I dont see any identifying marks on it either, therefore don't know what to search for.
And lastly I would like to buy a new tank. Wondering if other years or models are the same mounting pattern as the MX100.

3t0 belongs to MX100 80-83
i dont know the differences, look here http://www.yamahapartshouse.com at the part listings.

Thank you b-joe. Is it safe to assume that the neighboring year models (thru '83) should have the same gas tank if I were to want to replace mine?
