I am making a fake 73MX360 from my RT360 anybody know about side number plate fitting or where to get them & if there would be a problem fitting them / heat problems from the pipe?. I picked up a nice 74 YZ250 tank in the silver & red colors but has a missing petcock if anyone could help on either question?

actually you would have to start off with a 74 dt360a to make a convincing fake 73 mx360 as thats what it was based on.the parts like the cylinder and head would bolt on a 74 dt 360 lower end and the 73 has the pipe cross over through the frame like 74-75 dt's and 73-74 mx models.your closer to doing a 72 RT2MX since those motors and your RT3 share alot of the same engine and frame parts.
