Just picked up an 82 rm250 very cheap. It has a PSI pipe on it, which doesnt quite seem like it fits perfectly. Did they make any aftermarket pipes for this year?

Also, i have an 85' rm250, what were the engine differences between these years? I was planning on using the 82' as a parts bike for now (sprockets, pipe, etc), since my 85' is rough, but runs great and just needs a few things to be 100%

I don't think there will be a whole lot of things that can be used between the '82 and '85 RM250. The major difference in the engine is the crankcases. You may be able to modify some of the chassis parts to work on one or the other. You should be able to use the front forks, I believe they are both 43mm, only one is a disc brake.
