Hello , does anyne know if I could put a 1977 RM125 crankshaft, connecting rod and piston, with the 1977 cylinder and head onto a1 976 RM125 caee. I beleive the bottom ends were all the same from 1976-1978. The 1976 did use a different crank and cylinder compared to the 1977 and 1978 RM125.
Thanks, any deas??? john

1976, Bore x stroke: 56.0 x 50.0 mm
1977 on, Bore x stroke: 54.0 x 54.0 mm
cause of the different stroke the cases might be not intercangeable.

I believe you could use the cases from a '76A and the crank, top end from a '77B. The '77 RM100B is basically a sleeved down '76A. B-joe is correct that the bore & stroke are different, but if you are using the '77B crank and top end, it should work.
