I'm just getting started with Vintage Suzukis (TM100,125 & 250) and wonder what things need to be changed to make the bikes competitive. Also what aftermarket parts should I keep an eye out for? Thank you for any help you can offer!

The TM's were pretty competitive right out of the box. They could use better rear shocks and cartridge emulators in the forks ( if avail. for the fork size).
Better reeds ( Boyesens were the original hot set up), bored carb bodies, and milled heads also pumped up the power. If you can find a DG radial head, they worked great along with an aftermarket pipe.
