I'm just getting started with Vintage Suzukis (TM100,125 & 250) and wonder what things need to be changed to make the bikes competitive. Also what aftermarket parts should I keep an eye out for? Thank you for any help you can offer! J |

The TM's were pretty competitive right out of the box. They could use better rear shocks and cartridge emulators in the forks ( if avail. for the fork size). Better reeds ( Boyesens were the original hot set up), bored carb bodies, and milled heads also pumped up the power. If you can find a DG radial head, they worked great along with an aftermarket pipe. OriginalDirt |
