My 15 year old son owns a KX100. The bike has decent suspension and a pretty good power plant that is really easy to work on. The new CRF150 is a nice bike, but pretty costy to start with. Like most 4 stroke race bikes, they are likely high maintenance. Ride both if you can, and decide for yourself, but I would lean towards the Green machine.
