Post subject:  KX500- sort of a project

Hi Kawasaki guys' !

I posted pics of my "projects to be" in the CR forum --- but since i have plans for this one too -- and by current standards - its definitely vintage - i thought i'd share

'93 KX500 (19 years old -- - boy time flys)

The bike is fairly useless for me except for an occasional thrill ride -- but i can't bear to sell it. Call me crazy, but i much prefer my modern 4 stroke with smooth power and Rekluse clutch, although i can go just as fast on this beast given the right circumstances

I'm building a 450sf "game room" as part of a new house project i am involved in and i plan to fill that with things i care about -- like my old Hondas, vintage Mongoose bmx bikes -- etc.
Still trying to decide whether this has a place in mini-museum or not. The graphics in the early 90's were hideous, so my thoughts were to put it together with some bits and pieces from the late 80's to pay homage to the big Kawi's Jeff Ward and Ron Lechein rode back then
--- but as said -- its great for an occasional white knuckle ride, so i have mixed emotions about draining all the fluids and parking it
