Doesn't look like anyone is watching this site anymore, but I'll give it a shot. I have a 78 KX250, which I am looking for rear shocks for. Someone has a pair he said were from a 78 but the part number is 45014-10431, instead of the factory number 45014-1008. 2 questions. Does anyone know where this part number is off of? Also if someone has a set of shocks, let me know. Also need a brake pedal, and shifter. Mark

Yes, thanks. I'm aware of the correct part numbers. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the 45014-10431 number is off of. Mark

Progressive Suspension has new shocks for the 1978 KX250.i have used them on my 1970 Yamaha RT1M and the 1975 Honda CR250 and they are pretty good.
http://www.progressivesuspension.com/pr ... odelID=579

the springs are sold separate so ypu have to order them with the shocks and install them.
