hello. I had my strainer and gasket go bad in the fuel tap. Well replaced the gasket which ended up working good. The strainer could'nt find one so got a inline fuel filter. All I did was cut the fuel line in half and hooked up the two ends of it to the fuel line. Since doing this when I go to shift to a higher gear the bike looses power. And also gas leaks under neath the bike once in a while. There is air that you can see in the in-line filter, is it supposed to be that way? Could ya help me out why it is leaking and loose power at every gear? Thanks, Sheri.
