Post subject:  New guy, need help with carabela

Hi all,

New guy here. Long time lurker, first time poster. I need help with a new project of mine. I recently bought a 1986 Carabela FTX-125. The numbers match the original sale receipt so I´m fairly certain I'm actually dealing with that model...

I've searched everywhere on the internet and can't seem to find anything on this specific bike. Just a couple of pictures (mostly from classifieds sites), and very vague info about the company.

I'm mostly trying to get my hands on the engine documentation (shop manual, parts lists, wiring diagrams, etc) but have had ZERO luck. Hopefully you guys can help me out.

According to one site, Carabela at some point used Minarelli engines which I believe also made it onto Bultacos... Can anyone confirm this? Or point me in the right direction?

I took some pictures of the bike and the engine hopefully to help identify it.

On the engine, I found a casting behind the stator that says "AR5314113" I also found a couple of castings or stampings that say MONOPLAT MADE IN SPAIN.

Also, the vin number on the engine starts with 125-5V in case that helps anyone...

Any ways, here are the pictures so the someone can hopefully help me identify this engine so that I can search for info...
