I am building a trails bike out of left over parts from a B44 Victor Special project. I want more travel in the front end and as I don't have the stock forks I picked up a front end off a 1982 Honda XL500. I am going to machine adapters so I will be using the Honda stock 47mm OD bearings. What I need is the total height of the head stock from top bearing race to bottom bearing race and the OD of the head stock at the bearing races so I can figure the length of the adapters. Also some pictures of the fork stop would be helpful. I am located about 30 miles west of Chicago where the concrete turns to corn. If you want contact me off list. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Trig
