Does anyone know if the crank seals can be changed without splitting the case?

It looks like the right side seal is behind the bearing so you would have to split the cases. You can look at the diagram at Partzilla.com.

i am about to split my rm250..1976....im doing crank bearings, rod and new bored out .050 top end...
i have never split an engine but am gonna give it a go
