Good news! I just read the new Transworld MX and Dirt Rider tests of the 2005 CR's. The power has been improved and they rate the CR125 second to the YZ125. The CR250 is second in peak horsepower to the KTM, but has a mean hit (I'm sure Pro Circuit and FMF will fix that).

The Honda CR's are back ! :D

I guess the engineers got sensitive to all the complaining. Now the upper mid-range hit tries to rips your arms off.

It always amazes me why a company with the resources and engineers of Honda can't just build a motor that has the perfect powerband. I mean after all these years of missing the mark you think they would have it figured out. :(

Maybe they start their rookies in the pipe and ignition departments.
