I can't seem to find my repair manual for my 1974 CR125M. I just installed the clutch plates and the basket cover but i didn't know what to torque the bolts to so I just put them tight and loctite'd them. Is there specs for those 6 bolts and springs? I started the bike and its running great (its been in storage for 5 years). I had all the clutch plates apart to make sure they weren't seized and none were. But now it is like the clutch is on all the time even when the handle is released. Is that because those 6 bolts are too tight? Should I disassemble it again and loosen and tighten the bolts to specs? Would those bolts being to tight cause thie clutch to act as if the handle was pulled. With the bike not running, if I put it in gear, it still rolls without turning the engine over. And if I start it in neutral and shift into 1st, i hear a little drag on the engine (not much) but when I let the handle out, the bike doesn't move at all. Any input appreciated.

Nevermind, I took it back apart and found that the clutch basket wasn't lined up right. Moved it to defferent holes and it went on and works! Just took the bike around my court! Exciting day!

About ten ft pounds and no more and your ok if you tightned them to much you would know as the bolt will break or the clutch basket will break I have done both on an xl500.
