Anybody have experience purchasing items from European or Australian sellers? What are some of the things to be sure to do or watch out for? Thanks!

If you pay with a credit card or PayPal you are pretty much protected. If its a private individual you are operating on trust and I would stick to people who are "known" to this community. I have had very good service from http://www.cmsnl.com in the Netherlands. (The strength of the Euro is unpleasant but hardly their fault.)

I live in Australia and have bought heaps of stuff from the US from ebay. I've never had a problem, except one guy tried to charge me heaps for shipping, which I refused to pay. I have found everybody honest and helpful. Paypal is by far the best way to pay.

I use PayPal also, but this purchase was from an private individual which would require a Wire Transfer of money.
