Can anyone provide information on some of the aftermarket CR250R pipes? I'm looking at either a Pro Form, Circle F or Retro Rocket pipe.

How do they perform?

Thanks in advance!

Amazing that no one can report experience with non stock pipes for the '79 CR250R.

the problem is nobody compared all these pipes together. so it is difficould to say which one is the best.
and many buy a pipe at a resto and never tried the origin one.

for me i bought a pro-form pipe for my 80 model, fitment was not very good, i had to bend it a bit, the bike goes a bit stronger from down to mid section and about the same at the top, compared to the original.

i heard about the DG and cicle F that these are giving more at the top but much less at down and mid section.

I've used stock on a 78 CR250 but that was years ago.
With my current 79 CR250 I've used a vintage iron pipe, pretty good but did have some issue's with some welds leaking, currently using CircleF, very pleased with it, it has a very strong performance right though the rev range with more on top than the vintage iron, I was warned that the material its made from was very thin but this has been proved not the case its been a very tough pipe.
I've also used a Jemco pipe on a 1980 CR125 and that was a good pipe but no idea how they are on a CR250.

Thanks! I think it comes down to either a Pro Form or a Circle F for me.
