Vintage Dirt Bike Q & A

Thought it would be a good idea to have an up pipe if I were to do some trail riding. I realize there will probably have to be some mounting modifications made to the frame but I don't know if the MT pipe will clear the cylinder and head fins. Does the MT pipe have a silencer and spark arrestor? Anybody tried it or have any other options?

The mt pipe was close to the head and they did shave the fins on the mt to get it to fit. I have seen up pipes on a cr before but I have also seen people cut the fins to make it work. I have seen a few nos bassani up pipes I think for the cr or mt so they are out there. I have a cr pipe on my mt it fits fine just needed some mounts fabed.
