I bought some from the below company on Ebay recently but you can buy them direct from their Web Site. They are even in Canada. They make a set that includes both tank wings, the oil tank cover, and the warning label for the tank. Very nice quality and identical to the originals. They even include instructions. They gave me great service but to be honest I haven't installed them yet. Just bought another tank that I plan to paint first. Plan to keep one nice and one for bashing through the woods. Did a 100 mile dual sport run back in November. It was fun trying to keep up with all those KTM's.

I've used Reprodecals for my '73 CR250 and they're a good quality decal and I reckon pretty good value for money. A company in australia quoted me three times the price for a similar decal set. Reprodecals do list on Ebay from time to time but check their direct price so you don't bid too much. Anyway a set for $22US is good value. (That's what I paid.)

Mike:

With Ebay it's always a matter of timing. Guess I got lucky. Got all 4 for my 74 MT-250 for $18 plus $2 shipping. I forgot the wings were gold. Mine slowly converted to gray. Guess it's summer down your way. WeÌre getting 12 inches of snow today. Just fired up the 74 Suzuki 440 snowmobile for a little winter time fun. Got to love these old toys.

I found out that the decal on the web site is wrong for this bike so I would wait a while to order any decals for this bike so they can make the correct one.

Not for my bike. After reading your post I just pulled out the original oil tank cover and put the replacement next to it. It's an identical match. Of course mine is a 74 model year with a July 73 build date. Is your cover silver or black?

By the way the set is posted on ebay now.

hey, The one I have the side panel is black so that might be why I figured out that this one is a 75 NOT a 74. e-mail me with any questions you have and I will do my best to figure them out.

Thought I would point out their offer to produce new decals from the originals. They claim no harm will be done and original will be returned. They even talk about a discount. There have to be a lot of MT's out there and the only difference should in the oil cover.

Ref. below page.
