Hi,
maybe a stupid question, but; how exactly is the original attachment of the front number plate, and especially the airbox-lid?? Ofcourse it can be done with tie-wraps, but that's not the real way, I suppose...

Thanks,
Marcello

I will assume that both are held on with rubber bands a la 1979 CR250R. These OEM parts are near "unobtainium", but zip ties look naff. I got O-rings from the hardware store that hold on the front number plate. And went to the sewing machine repair store for a large drive belt that fits both the air box lid, and holds the fronts of the side panels together across the front of the air box. Only a NOS head will ever know the difference.
