Hello, I'm a new elsinore owner and am having a couple of challenges.

The carb is spitting out the overflow (the hose that runs from the bottom of the float bowl). I've replaced the needle and seat and adjusted the float height.

I'm also having a tough time starting the bike, it seems that the spark is not strong on every kick. Could this be related to the condenser? I've jumped the kill switch. Is there a way to test the condenser?
Can anyone tell me the best place to buy these items?
Any other thoughts?

Thanks.
Mac

Mac,
First of all you can test continuity across the condensor, but if you are getting any spark you're passing that test. The whole set-up is cheap. See http://www.re-mx.com/cr/cr125_cr250.php for tune-up kit and more. Get a few plugs.

On your carb question I would have to say you need to tear it down and get a good carb cleaner into the shut off valve and all the little venturi (passages). Make sure your float actually floats. Reassemble and try again.

Dan
