well I just picked up a kinda running mt250 (flooding carb and barely there coil wire....)

so I am ordering up a new coil to toss on it and tore it down to a bare frame and have refinished it all and started getting it back together but was wondering if I can swap in some tapered bearings on the headstock?

also is there no bearings or bushings on the swingarm? all I see is a knurled steel hole on the arm and a grrease fitting?

I believe jastco.com has the brass replacement swingarm bushing you need. They are the same as a 74 CR250. In the Vintage Views there are guys selling the tapered bearing replacements for CR250s should be the same as the MT. Check AHRMA.org maybe they are listed online.
