Hi, I have been having troubles finding a new main shaft bearing for my 79 CR250. It is the transmission needle bearing right next to the clutch actuator shaft. I tried to order one from Honda/Yamaha Of Troy but it is discontinued. Every bearing kit I have looked at does not have this bearing. It's like they don't exist any more. Does anyone know where I can find one of these?

Take the old one to a local bearing house, you may get lucky.

*IF* you have the part number you may want to try them. They have an eBay store and stock main bearings and seal for several models of MX bikes. They've offered to try and get me bearings for items they don't stock if I get them the part numbers. They were very quick in responding to emails and shipping my parts.

Hi Joe,

I know what needle bearing you're looking for; Honda p/n #91020-430-008 -its been discontinued from Honda for a long time now and the aftermarket bearing kits do not include them. I think I might have a couple new & in unopened package in my stash. I will check. PM if interested..
