I have heard that you can fit a later model airbox inside the 1974 CR125 frame. Does anyone know if this is true? What year airbox should I get, a '75 or '76-'78? Thanks for your help!

The 1975 CR125 aircage works perfect. The 76-78 airbox is just that..an airbox restrictive. Most airboxes from 76-78 we were drilling holes in the side doors for better air flow. The 75 is lighter will bolt right up & you can get a UNI filter just about anywhere.

I can send you a pic of my old 74 CR125 with a 75 aircage.
