Looks like a '73-'74 CR250m to me. Not sure what you mean about exhaust port on the wrong side...These year Elsinores pipes exit to the right and are underslung beneath the engine. Look at some of the Bikes of the Month to get a better idea. Also looks like a NOS, original bore, nice find! Might want to put a nice coat of oil on it.

THANKS! I kind of was leaning towards the cr.. but the microfiche picture is hard to identify from. We've found A MOUNTAIN of old honda and suzuki 2 stroke parts in our attic. It's basicaly a complete store's inventory that was around from the late 50's to the early 70's when we bought it.

I do have some bodywork...which I am trying to get to, and also I have several sets of old 2 stroke exhaust. Mostly what I have though is engine "parts" and kick starters. pistons, rings, transmission parts and some engine cases.

Hi:

Check the bottom of the cylinder for a stamping which says "GP". Honda made optional cylinders with different porting. If it is a GP cylinder it is worth more. The Kit they sold also had a 36mm Keihin carb, but I'm not sure if they offered a different pipe. I will check my old Microfishe and see what other options they offered. It's been a long time since I was 14 and looked at that stuff like I used to............lol
