hi
finaly the restoration is about to turn for my 1973 cr250m eng no 1001179.after getting imported from spicewood tx to australia it is finaly put together time.can any body tell me the best way to paint the motor,or should i just leave it natral finish.

I painted the center cases, cylinder and cylinder head with PJ-1 satin black engine enamel then cooked everything at 300 degrees for half an hour. I powder coated the clutch and ignition covers with Eastwood satin black powder which was a good match with the PJ-1 and also very durable. Everything turned out pretty good.
