My 'Parts Bike' was started last weekend and now I am looking to make it complete. It is lacking the front forks, fender and handlebars.
I'm wondering if the forks off of a 1981 CR450 will fit my bike? (82 CR250)

The 1981 forks are 41mm while the 1982 triple clamps are expecting 43mm fork tubes. You could use 1981 triple clamps, though.

For what it's worth, I've fround a handy cross reference for fork tube diameters...
