I bought these for my xl500 dont know that they will work but I have xr500 forks on it know and these are supposed to fit the xr500 so fingers crossed. Anyway anyone have any idea of how much oil goes in or anyway to figure it out. here is a link to what I am talking about. 125honda seems to always have somthing I want to buy.

Fork oil capacity for the '79 CR250 is: 205 cc (6.9 oz)/ per leg at draining
275 cc (9.3 oz)/ per leg at dry assembly

Honda recommends 5W fork oil

I recommend you install a set of boots before riding. The seals are not protected
at all without them.
