can you use a 450 crank in a 480?

1983 480('82 motor). basically stock except '87 front end revalved by white bros, front disc, dg silencer, tag oversized bar
1987 cr250. pro circuit works pipe and 304 silencer, v force 3, ohlins rear shock, '89 front end, tag oversized bar

perhabs in a 82 case but defenately not in a 83 case.
