Hey guys can you tell me how many friction discs this clutch is supposed to take? I put brand new friction discs in about 4 months ago and replaced the same amount of discs I took out but I remember there was one extra in the pack. I didnt start the bike or ride it for a good while and when I did the clutch slipped just like it did before I worked on it....... I thought the springs and steels looked ok so i didnt replace them.Any ideas?

...try and get someone to confirm the service limit for the clutch springs. You may have the correct number of disks, but the springs are worn out. I just put a set of Barnett springs in my 1979 CR250R clutch and it is real nice. Maybe they are available for your bike if the OEM ones are discontinued.
