Hey just to let you all know I got an After market PVL ignition from Penton Racing for
my MR 250 I heard that the Cr and the Mr were the same they are not i ordered the kit for the CR and the Rotor would not fit called Penton and talked to Dane ( real nice guy)
he had me to measure the crank and give him some measurements over the phone and he custom ground a rotor for me and sent it. Called me to make sure how it fit after I received it and had me take pictures and e-mail to him so he could check the fit. and I returned the other one this ignition rocks had to order it thru Pro-Flo since Penton will not sell to us only dealers but if your looking for a upgrade ignition contact Dane at Penton Racing and he will surely hook you up.

Does your bike still have the head light and tail light? I want a pvl on my mt but also want the street legal gear.

Sorry currently they only have the ignition in analog which does not support the head light and tail lights. Maybe if you talk to Dane he may be able to come up with something that would work for a digital application which would support the lights.
My ignition was shot so I was happy just to get it running again.

I talked to him the other day and he can set one up its puts out 80 watts at 12 volts for the lights so it can be done but would take a little work.

I know this is an old thread, but do you still have those dimensions so I can contact Dane about one for my MR250? How much did that end up being? I want to replace the entire ignition system on this thing since it's all pretty knackered. The stator on it at the moment is tore up from someone trying to pull the flywheel with the wrong puller it looks like. I'd rather have a PVL anyway as I know how good they work on other bikes. I got a buddy with a bike shop that can order it from them with his dealer account.
