http://www.red-devil-racing.com/red-devil-racing/ This is the outfit Australia making replica chain sliders. I would only use the stock rear chain guide for a restoration. If you want something that works get a complete chain guide from http://www.jastco.com. There are no rollers and the chain goes through a plastic block that can be replaced. A big +1 on lubing the swing arm pivot and bearings. I must have had 5-6 frames through my hands and each and every one had siezed bearings. My kick starters are floppy too, and I have kept back NOS parts for one final re-build.

Thanks guys.. Good idea Garry had not thought of using a radiator hose for fabbing a chain guard.... I have thought of alot of other possibilities like the sole of a shoe or our welcome mat!!!! Would have to think fast if confronted by the wife though :roll:
