Post subject:  Ebay Frustration

Twice in one day Elsinore NOS parts on e-bay that I needed have been delisted due to "part no longer available" or "error in listing", even after I had bids on them.
If a part is in demand, I think that the seller will get more money for it if he keeps it listed and let the bidders bid it up rather than ending the auction early to sell someone off-ebay.
Bummed out in Elsinore-land!

Be really careful when you are bidding on eBay.

99.9% of the stuff is available from Honda or off Elsinore webpage s(avoid Red Racer) and its cheaper in a lot of cases.

it is true what you say about Ebay in many regards - but don't forget the odd bargain can still be found. The local Honda store had a 1973 shift fork in stock (surprise surprise) for my 250 Elsinore - price was $170AUD - managed to get 2 forks for $60Aus from Ebay NOS - sometimes you gotta win. Gasket kits are a killer on Ebay though and can be sourced elsewhere and cheaper.

cheers
