Hi there fellas, and ladies too!

I have an 74 MT125 to I would like to restrict 14.6bhp for a learner.

Looking for the easiest way.

The MT125 has never been road registered here, so I thought I could just register it as 14.6bhp?

Any thoughts?

Stu :)

I would say that the MT125 doesn't make much more power than that, if it even makes that much. If you have to have it dyno tested just put a richer main jet in it so it won't clear out, that will kill the power for sure. I thought I read an artical one time that said it made 14 horsepower, but I could be mistaken. If they measure horsepower at the rear wheel you have absolutely nothing to worry about, LOL!!!

According to the Cycle magazine test in their August 1973 issue the MT-125 put out 9.61 horsepower maximum at 7500 rpm.
The CR-125 tested in the same issue put out 16.93 horsepower maximum at 8500 rpm.
