Hi there fellas, and ladies too! I have an 74 MT125 to I would like to restrict 14.6bhp for a learner. Looking for the easiest way. The MT125 has never been road registered here, so I thought I could just register it as 14.6bhp? Any thoughts? Stu ![]() |

I would say that the MT125 doesn't make much more power than that, if it even makes that much. If you have to have it dyno tested just put a richer main jet in it so it won't clear out, that will kill the power for sure. I thought I read an artical one time that said it made 14 horsepower, but I could be mistaken. If they measure horsepower at the rear wheel you have absolutely nothing to worry about, LOL!!! |

According to the Cycle magazine test in their August 1973 issue the MT-125 put out 9.61 horsepower maximum at 7500 rpm. The CR-125 tested in the same issue put out 16.93 horsepower maximum at 8500 rpm. |
