Hi,
Can anyone tell me where I can locate "new" or "very good" crank cases.
I have extensively rebuilt the engine to race......and found the main bearings have movement in case.
splitting cases again showed the bearing bores on cases are flogged out .
I did not notice this when rebuilding engine ...just fitted new mains and thought all good
one case is welded where chain took out clutch arm at some stage in its life.
I do not really want to attempt further repairs on the old cases.
