Was the yellow paint on pins, nuts etc. done as a check at the factory to insure correct torque? Any thoughts on replicating this, type of paint, placement of paint etc?Can anyone post some pics? Thanks,eL.

I'm not sure but my MR250 still has it's paint marks on it and there used to be one on the master link also. If it was used as a check it should be reused because when I bought a new xr70 for my son, the front axle was loose- so much for dealer prep

I just picked up a new Husqvarna and it has same paint marks. I believe it shows that various critical bolts have been torqued and then checked. You can easily tell if something has come loose.
